Wow, a 12th-century chapel with a killer view of the river, free wine tasting every evening, and a delicious breakfast with French pastries. The decor had a light Asian touch. Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion were just a 30-minute drive away.
Oh, and no sarcasm here, but I just loved everything about my stay!

We had the most delightful experience at a charming vineyard retreat. The setting by the river was simply idyllic, providing a serene backdrop for our stay. The room we stayed in was not only spacious but also elegantly designed, making us feel like we were enveloped in luxury. One of the highlights of our stay was the personal wine tasting we had before our evening meal, where we got to sample the exquisite wines produced by the vineyard. The option to enjoy a delicious meal in the beautifully appointed old chapel was truly special. Additionally, the tranquility and seclusion of the location allowed us to fully relax and unwind. I highly recommend this hidden gem for those looking to indulge in good wine and a touch of luxury amidst a picturesque setting.

The converted chapel where breakfast is served adds a unique touch to the experience. The room and bathroom were spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even offered free wine tasting, which was a delightful experience. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great selection of teas and coffees. a wonderful and charming place to stay.
The sat nav seemed to get a bit confused with the location at times, which made finding the retreat a bit challenging.
